Green production process innovation promotes low-carbon and sustainable development in the leaf spring industry.

Guided by the dual-carbon development concept, the leaf spring manufacturing industry is comprehensively promoting green production reform. From three dimensions—raw material processing, production process optimization, and waste recycling—it is creating a low-carbon and environmentally friendly production model, achieving a win-win situation for industrial development and ecological protection. Traditional leaf spring production suffers from high energy consumption in heat treatment, significant pollution from anti-corrosion spraying, and low recycling rates for waste leaf springs, resulting in resource waste and environmental pressure. To address these pain points, companies have successively introduced energy-saving heat treatment equipment and adopted zoned temperature control and waste heat recovery technology, significantly reducing energy consumption in heat treatment processes. Simultaneously, they have phased out highly polluting oil-based spraying processes and popularized electrostatic powder coating technology, reducing emissions of pollutants at the source. Furthermore, the industry has established a comprehensive full-lifecycle recycling system, uniformly recycling and refining production waste and scrapped leaf springs. Recycled steel can be reused in leaf spring production, significantly improving the recycling rate of raw materials. Among these, the environmental advantages of new composite leaf springs are even more prominent, with production energy consumption nearly 40% lower than traditional steel leaf springs, and a recycling rate of over 90% after product disposal. The widespread adoption of green processes helps leaf spring manufacturers reduce energy costs and meet environmental control standards, thus contributing to the low-carbon and sustainable development of the entire parts manufacturing industry.
